About the Role:
We are seeking a talented and versatile Visual Designer to join our team at verloop.io. As a Visual Designer, you will play a pivotal role in handling design requirements for the marketing team, UI, and visual design requirements for our company. You will be responsible for creative conceptualization, translating user requirements into visually appealing designs, and creating compelling visual assets that align with our brand identity. Proficiency in design software such as Figma, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and a strong understanding of design fundamentals and trends are essential for this role.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop visually striking marketing materials, including website graphics, social media content, digital ads, email templates, infographics, and other promotional assets that effectively communicate our brand and value proposition.
Create visually engaging UI designs for our web and mobile applications that enhance the user experience and align with our brand guidelines.
Understand user requirements and translate them into meaningful and aesthetically pleasing designs that optimize usability and user satisfaction.
Stay up-to-date with design trends, industry best practices, and emerging technologies, and leverage this knowledge to continuously improve our design outputs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and marketers, to ensure design solutions meet business objectives and user needs.
Create wireframes, prototypes, and interactive design concepts to communicate design ideas and gather feedback from stakeholders.
Conduct design reviews and provide constructive feedback to maintain design quality and consistency.
Maintain and organize design files, assets, and documentation to facilitate efficient collaboration and accessibility for the team.
Requirements:
Proven experience 4+ years as a visual designer, with a focus on marketing designs and UI design.
Must have prior hands-on experience designing and working on websites, with a strong understanding of web layout, user experience, and modern design standards.
Strong portfolio showcasing a wide range of design work, including marketing collateral, UI designs, web/mobile applications, and branding, preferably in the SaaS industry.
Proficiency in design software such as Figma, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and other relevant design tools.
Solid understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and composition.
Strong conceptualization skills and ability to think creatively to develop innovative design concepts.
Good communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to deliver high-quality work within deadlines.
Bachelor's degree in graphic design, visual communication, or a related field
