Verloop is looking for an enthusiastic and self-driven individual who is passionate to work at a fast-growing start-up. As a HR Partner this role will lead all HR efforts for operations in India and partner with business leaders to create, update and ensure compliance of Verloop's people practices.

Responsibilities -

  • Proactively come up with HR strategies, policies, and practices

  • Actively work on building and fostering employee engagement

  • Work with leads to improve and monitor employee productivity

  • Develop, monitor and continuously improve employee on-boarding and exit

  • Build and improve compensation and benefit packages

  • Work with talent acquisition to drive recruitment efforts as per the plan


  • 5+ years of experience


  • 5+ years of experience preferably in a tech focussed company

  • Previous experience of setting up HR function from scratch

  • Demonstrated capabilities in coming up with detailed HR policy documents and implementation

  • Analytical capabilities to come up with data-driven recommendations to improve performance, retention and the employee experience

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects and cope with ambiguity within a changing environment

  • Demonstrated highest level of integrity, intellectual honesty, and strong work ethic

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with fluent verbal and written English

  • Innovative & Pro-active, able to come out with solutions and challenge the status quo

  • Preferred but not mandatory; Relevant degree in HR, Business or equivalent
